Hello World Wide Web! Not that I haven’t seen you before, but this is a reunion for me when it comes to blogging. I’ve got this whole journaling thing down, but now I’d like to post things that can be viewed by others.
My goal for this page is to post funny, awkward, kooky, random, and interesting things that I’ve learned, have heard, or would like to just get off my chest. So get ready for a gallon-sized load of Joan’s mind… psh!
A challenge I’d like to also have is posting something inspirational every time (despite my very shallow commentary that tends to endlessly flow). Whether it be quotes from famous dead guys… or… well, who ever quotes people who are still alive? It’s like stealing another person’s words when they just said them. That’s kinda lame. You could do it, but I’ll try my best not to. Especially after making that comment!
Scripture will be a huge source of inspiration (there are certainly lots of dead guys in that one-only one’s alive today :-), and I might even post the daily Bible readings from that week for reading through the Bible in a year (thanks to www.oneyearbibleblog.com). Side note, to be caught up since the beginning read up to Genesis 37:1-38:30, Matthew 12:22-45, Psalm 16:1-11, and Proverbs 3:27-32.
I look forward to this journey together, and I feel tempted to start the 2nd blog this very second!
